Hi, I’m Iain, a maths teacher with over 15 years of experience helping learners from all walks of life. Alfred is my dog, who is being shamelessly used as clickbait, alongside being a vital addition to the CrackMaths team.
Throughout my career, I’ve specialised in working with students who’ve had gaps in their education or faced challenges with learning maths. My passion is making maths accessible and breaking down barriers so that everyone has the opportunity to achieve the qualifications they need to move forward.
I’ve created CrackMaths as a free, simple-to-use resource to guide you through the Level 2 Functional Skills Maths curriculum. I know that maths can feel overwhelming, especially if you’ve struggled with it in the past, but I believe that with clear instruction and plenty of practice, anyone can succeed.
